This project was created by Tiffany Shimizu Kevin Weber, Felicia Nemet, and myself. This website creates a slideshow matching the user's choice of theme for the images along with dad jokes to accompany each image. This website incorporates 2 API calls (icanhazdadjoke.com, unsplash.com) to return the data needed for the slideshow.

This project is my first project using React. I use an API call (pokeapi.co) to display information about each Pokémon. With how this API works, 2 API calls were needed, one to get the data of a list of Pokémon and another to get data for each individual Pokémon. When the API call to get the data for each Pokémon is used, it is essential to use the function Promise.all() to let the app know to wait for all of the API calls to finish.

This project was my first pair programming experience. Chris Yun and I created this app that will show recipes for a variety of dishes. Users can search for dishes by name or search categories to get a list of recipes to choose from, or simply get a random dish.
